‍ ‍Indian IT Firm SourceFuse to Enter Japan Market

SourceFuse, an IT services company based in India and the U.S., is planning to enter the Japanese market. The company aims to set up a local subsidiary in Japan by 2026.

In an interview, COO Kabir Chandhoke said the company plans to establish its Japan office between July and September 2026. Japan will become its fifth market, following the U.S., India, the U.K., and Australia.

The company will start with a small team of 5 to 10 employees and aims to grow its client base in Japan. It currently has around three clients but plans to expand to 8–10 companies, including large enterprises.

Founded in 2016, SourceFuse provides digital transformation (DX) services, cloud solutions using AWS, and AI-based services such as telemedicine and healthcare platforms.

The move into Japan is driven by strong demand for digital transformation and a shortage of labor due to the aging population. The company aims to solve these challenges through its IT expertise.

Other Indian IT firms, such as RateGain and HCL, are also expanding in Japan. This trend shows growing interest from overseas companies in the Japanese market.

However, challenges such as language barriers and local business practices remain.
