A Singaporean Cleantech Startup, uHoo Establishes a Japan Subsidiary
uHoo, a Singapore-based cleantech startup, announced in December 2025 the establishment of its Japan subsidiary and the launch of its business in Japan, marking its full entry into the market.
Founded in 2014, uHoo provides solutions in indoor air quality (IAQ) and environmental intelligence, helping improve health and productivity through real-time air data monitoring and analysis.
The company sees strong potential in Japan due to its high awareness of health and environmental issues, as well as growing concerns over indoor air quality such as pollen, mold, and dust.
In Japan, uHoo plans to expand its business by offering its next-generation air monitor “uHoo Caeli” for households and “uHoo Aura” for businesses and facilities, supporting ESG initiatives and building certifications. The company will also strengthen partnerships with corporations, local governments, and educational institutions, while enhancing sales channels and customer support to establish its presence in the Japanese market.
