Okeanos Group, LLC., A Sustainable Materials Company, Establishes Japanese Subsidiary in Tokyo
Okeanos Group, LLC., a sustainable materials company based in Florida, established its Japanese subsidiary, Okeanos Japan LLC, in Tokyo’s Shinjuku Ward in January 2026. Founded in 2019, the company develops its proprietary “Made From Stone™ (MFS)” technology, which uses calcium carbonate derived from limestone to significantly reduce the use of petroleum-based plastics.
The technology is expected to be used in packaging and consumer goods materials, helping reduce CO₂ emissions and improve sustainability. Because MFS is highly compatible with existing manufacturing equipment, it can be introduced without major production-line modifications.
Okeanos has already expanded its manufacturing network in Asia through partnerships in Thailand and India. With its new Japan office, the company plans to strengthen sales and marketing activities, expand partnerships with Japanese companies, and explore future domestic production partnerships in Japan.
